Karmapa Public Course 2019
The annual Karmapa Public Course will take place from 11 – 18 March 2019. The course will offer Buddhist teachings for practitioners and members of the public from India and around the world. As with previous Public Courses, the 2019 programme will include teachings and empowerments by Thaye Dorje, His Holiness the 17th Gyalwa Karmapa, and other senior Buddhist teachers.
The course will be held at the Karmapa International Buddhist Institute (KIBI), which was established by Karmapa’s late teacher and fellow lineage holder, His Holiness 14th Kunzig Shamar Rinpoche, fulfilling the wishes of His Holiness the 16th Gyalwa Karmapa to have an institute of higher learning based on Buddha’s timeless wisdom.
