Japan fire: Karmapa’s message of condolence
Following a suspected arson attack in Kyoto, Japan, Thaye Dorje, His Holiness the 17th Gyalwa Karmapa, shares the following message of condolence:
Dear dharma friends
In a suspected arson attack, at least 26 people have lost their lives, dozens have been injured, and many people are still unaccounted for, at an animation studio in Kyoto, Japan.
As we pray for the victims of this disaster, and countless tragedies around the world, may we remember that each and every moment is subject to impermanence. Therefore, let us waste no time and seek to use this moment to benefit all sentient beings.
With compassion
Thaye Dorje
His Holiness the 17th Gyalwa Karmapa
