Cremation of Shamar Rinpoche

On 31 July 2014, His Holiness Kunzig Shamar Rinpoche was cremated at the Shar Minub monastery in Kathmandu, Nepal. Thaye Dorje, His Holiness the 17th Gyalwa Karmapa, presided over the elaborate ceremonies. Many Rinpoches and dignitaries, and thousands of devotees attended.
