El Salvador Diamond Way Center
Our center was founded by Lama Ole and his wife Hannah Nydahl in January of 1996.
Its original name was Karma Yonten Ling (the place of Buddha Qualities) and since that the center has functioned following the spiritual guidance of Thaye Dorje, His Holiness the 17th Gyalwa Karmapa and the teachings of Lama Ole Nydahl. We practice the Ngöndro, the meditation on the 16th Karmapa, and the 8th Karmapa meditation, and other practices, always in the order given by our Lama.
Lopön Tsechu Rinpoche visited us in the 1990s, and every year we are visited by lay Buddhist teachers sent by Lama Ole at least 3 or 4 times.
