San Luis Obispo Bodhi Path Buddhist Center
Located in a quiet residential section of San Luis Obispo, the Bodhi Path Buddhist Center welcomes everyone interested in the Buddhist path to true happiness. We provide opportunities to learn and practice meditation, as well as to gain knowledge, study and discuss topics from a progressive Buddhist curriculum.
The Center was founded by the 14th Shamar Rinpoche. Guided by Mahayana Buddhism and our teachers, we meet twice weekly and host teachers from nearby Bodhi Path centers several times a month on Sunday mornings. We sponsor longer programs several times a year, including teachings from Dharma Teachers, Lamas, and Rinpoches from Asia, Europe and the Americas.
We meet Sundays from 10:00 a.m. to noon, and Wednesdays from 6:50 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Meditation instruction is always available. Special retreats and teachings occur every few months.
