Dechen is an international association of Sakya and Karma Kagyu Buddhist centres founded by Lama Jampa Thaye.
In Dechen we are able to receive a complete training in Buddhist meditation based on the timeless teachings of the Buddha.
We welcome those who are interested in finding out about Buddhism in a safe welcoming environment. All our centres and groups offer a regular programme of introductory classes.
Harrogate Meetings

Wednesday 10am and 7pm for Meditation followed by study the group on The Precious Rosary of the Supreme Path by Gampopa.
Currently all our Meetups are on zoom and at the Centre.
You are invited to join us for any of our zoom meet ups. There is some social time for introductions, some calm abiding meditation (to cultivate calm and insight) followed by talks on topics that go straight to the heart .
